A l\u2019approche des achats de No\u00ebl, les marques de luxe se mettent \u00e0 faire de plus en plus de publicit\u00e9, surtout en t\u00e9l\u00e9vision. Pourtant, pour les groupes \u00e0 revenu sup\u00e9rieur, il s\u2019av\u00e8re que les m\u00e9dias num\u00e9riques et les magazines constituent une source de choix d\u2019inspiration et d\u2019investigation pour les produits de luxe. Ceux qu\u2019on appelle les \u2018luxury shoppers\u2019 consomment aussi beaucoup moins de publicit\u00e9 TV (-12 %) que les autres.<\/p>\n

Une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente aupr\u00e8s d\u2019utilisateurs Internet am\u00e9ricains (ao\u00fbt 2015) a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que 63 % d\u2019entre eux avaient vu de la publicit\u00e9 TV dans les 30 derniers jours. Parmi les \u2018luxury shoppers\u2019 \u2013 les personnes projetant d\u2019acheter des produits de luxe \u2013, ce pourcentage \u00e9tait toutefois consid\u00e9rablement inf\u00e9rieur, atteignant \u00e0 peine 51 %. Le constat que la publicit\u00e9 est moins vue par les acheteurs de luxe vaut \u00e9galement pour d\u2019autres m\u00e9dias (voir graphique), mais en bien moindre mesure.<\/p>\n

Il appara\u00eet que ce sont justement les personnes qui ach\u00e8tent davantage de produits de luxe, les consommateurs \u00e0 revenu sup\u00e9rieur, qui consomment aussi moins de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision. Lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019inspiration et de recherche de produits pour les marques de luxe, les m\u00e9dias num\u00e9riques carambolent en t\u00eate (63 %),\u00a0 suivis des recommandations de tiers et des magazines (45 %), comme le d\u00e9montre une autre \u00e9tude datant de d\u00e9but 2015.<\/p>\n
